Modalities
I utilize a variety of methods to align and maintain balance between your body and spirit. Each session is specifically tailored to meet your individual needs, incorporating different modalities for optimal results. As a progressive Massage Therapist, I focus on nurturing the body rather than fighting against it. Your well-being is my top priority.
Deep Tissue
Deep tissue massage involves the application of continuous pressure and long, deep strokes to specifically target your muscles and fascia, which is the connective tissue enveloping your muscles. This massage technique is primarily used to relieve chronic pain, injuries, stress, and increase range of motion. At no extra cost, Cupping therapy can also be included. It is normal to feel some soreness after this treatment.
Relaxation Massage
Relax your muscles and nervous system with a calming massage. Indulge in a gentle, soothing massage that will ease your muscles and calm your nerves. For an extra dose of relaxation, include Reiki in your session.
Therapeutic Massage
A therapeutic massage aims to address a specific injury or issue. A session may include deep tissue massage, cupping therapy, tuning forks, or stretching to increase mobility, improve your range of motion, and facilitate recovery.
Reiki
Reiki is a stress-reduction and relaxation technique that promotes healing through hands-on bodywork. Whether as a standalone therapy or added to a 60, 75, or 90-minute massage, its benefits are numerous. If you're interested in learning more about Reiki, please click here.
Cupping Therapy
For thousands of years, cupping therapy has been utilized as a healing treatment. By creating a suction effect with a cup on an area of skin, muscles and connective tissue are decompressed. This technique encourages proper blood flow to the area, aiding in recovery and healing. In the words of ancient practitioners, "Where there is stagnation, there will be pain. Remove the stagnation, and you'll remove the pain."
